RanggStudio – Studio Hire Terms & Conditions

1. Bookings & Payment

1.1. All studio bookings must be made in advance and are confirmed only once full payment has been received.
1.2. Booking fees are non-refundable and non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by RanggStudio.
1.3. The lead booker must be 18 years of age or over and must remain present for the duration of the booking.

 

 

2. Booking Duration & Overtime

2.1. Hire time includes all set-up, shooting, and clear-up time. Please ensure your booking allows adequate time.
2.2. Any time used beyond the booked session may be charged at RanggStudio’s standard hourly rate and is subject to availability.

 

 

3. Use of the Studio Space

3.1. The studio is to be used solely for photography, videography, content creation, or approved creative projects unless prior permission is granted.
3.2. All furniture, props, and equipment must be used responsibly and returned to their original positions at the end of the session.
3.3. The hirer will be held liable for any damage caused to the studio, furnishings, props, or equipment during the booking.

 

 

4. Capacity & Behaviour

4.1. Maximum occupancy (8 persons )  limits must be respected as agreed at the time of booking.
4.2. The hirer is fully responsible for the behaviour and actions of all attendees.
4.3. Smoking, vaping, open flames, illegal substances, or hazardous materials are strictly prohibited within the studio.

 

 

5. Health & Safety

5.1. All activities undertaken during the hire period must comply with health and safety standards and be conducted responsibly.
5.2. Anyone under the age of 16 must be supervised at all times by a responsible adult.

6. Flooring Protection & Footwear

6.1. To preserve our painted and styled flooring, please ensure footwear is properly cleaned prior to entering studio
6.2. Please do not drag any furniture that may cause the floor to mark.
6.3. Any damage caused to the flooring due to failure to follow this policy will be chargeable to the hirer.

7. Cleaning & Waste

7.1. The studio must be left in the same condition it was found upon arrival.
7.2. All rubbish must be disposed of in the bins provided.
7.3. Additional cleaning or waste removal fees may be applied if the studio is left untidy or unsuitable for immediate use.

 

 

8. Cancellations & Rescheduling

8.1. RanggStudio does not offer refunds for cancelled bookings.
8.2. One reschedule may be permitted if requested at least 48 hours before the booking start time, subject to availability.
8.3. Requests made within 48 hours of the booking will result in forfeiture of the session.

 

 

9. Breakages, Loss & Liability

9.1. The hirer accepts responsibility for any loss, damage, or breakage to the studio or its contents caused during the booking.
9.2. All equipment and props are used at the hirer’s own risk. RanggStudio accepts no liability for damage to or loss of personal equipment, materials, or belongings.
9.3. No modifications, installations, or alterations may be made to the studio or its contents without prior written consent.
9.4. Any issues with studio equipment must be reported to staff immediately at the start of the session.
9.5. RanggStudio shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of income, arising from:

• Damage to personal property

• Equipment malfunction or unavailability

• Interruption or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances

 

 

10. Termination of Hire

10.1. RanggStudio reserves the right to terminate a booking immediately if these terms are breached.
10.2. Aggressive, abusive, unsafe, or disrespectful behaviour towards staff or the studio space may result in immediate termination of the booking without refund and refusal of future bookings.
